Berkeley Symphony Orchestra's Second Annual Choral Festival, benefiting the Musicians' Pension Fund. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, 8 p.m. at Zellerbach Hall, UC Berkeley. Conducted by Vance George and hosted by Kent Nagano; featuring the Berkeley Symphony and members of the Bella Musica Chorus, Berkeley Community Chorus, Oakland Symphony Chorus, UC Alumni Chorus, etc. Handel’s Royal Fireworks and Zadok, the Priest, Haydn’s Harmoniemesse, and Fauré’s Requiem. Advance tickets available from participants for $40/$30/$20 ($12 for students w/ID and children).

Duruflé Requiem. No, it’s not too late! The Arlington Community Church choir would still love to have a few extra singers who are already familiar with this work for their performance in April.
