Getting Started
We welcome singers of all abilities who want to explore musically with us, stretch and grow their craft, and be part of an inclusive, supportive community.
Auditions
New singers are welcome at the start of each season and will participate in a group audition to determine vocal placement. While we aim to be as inclusive as possible, previous musical experience and an ability to read music are encouraged.
Rehearsals
We rehearse Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at St. Clements Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Boulevard, in south Berkeley. (Enter from Claremont Avenue.) This location is wheelchair-accessible.
Repertoire
We draw from a wide body of vocal repertoire, ranging from traditional classics to modern, newly composed, and lesser-known pieces. Our concerts are typically a mix of short works, and we strive to deliver interesting, high-caliber performances that are accessible to a wide audience.
